MINECRAFT 1.0 IS FINALLY OUT
We at Bladecraft are very excited for the final release of Minecraft, and will begin to adapt the new version with all of it's features to the Project. Stay tuned, and most of all, believe in us. We don't have much yet, but our plans and ambitions are great and we really hope that once we are live, we'll get lots of feedback and create an opportunity for players to try something new in Minecraft. As we all know, it took a while for Notch to develop the game, and he was just one guy working on a small project (just like us). Now the game has blown up. We hope we can create this server so that people can get more out of Minecraft. See you soon!

The server software has ben updating, but 1.9 is soon to be released. Bladecraft will start work in 1.8.1, and adjust the project when the game updates again to 1.9. We simply can not wait forever, since the game will update again and again.

Minecraft is in 1.8. The server is running Vanila for you to test it out. The server is now open for applications and the work will start. We will start work on the map, plugins and the client. Shortee is continuing his work on the texture pack, and will soon start on custom sounds, while rushone2009 will start advertising and recruiting. We are still waiting for the Bukkit and Spout software to update, which will probably take a couple of days. Stay Tuned!

1.8 is coming out pretty soon (September 8th to be almost precise, although Mojang is known to be late with the updates), and this will be time where all of hell will break loose. We will be working on the server, but we are limited by the time it takes to update all of our software. After the Bukkit and Spout Dev teams update their software, we will begin the process of customizing the server. This will mean the general customization of the Spoutcraft Client and the Server side plugins. We want the player to have as little need to use commands as possible, meaning shortcuts will be created, such as pressing the 'h' button on your keyboard will bring up help with all the shortcuts in a visual screen. Yes, this means no more messy chat commands. The chat will be reserved for chat itself between players, and all the notification will be done through a comprehensive gui via the client. This also means new achievements will be created.
Right now we are going to start working on the map, plan for which you can see in the below post. We are going to advertise and find professional builders who will have an exclusive access to the whitelist. All plans for the map will be put out on the forums, which we seek to have heavy use for the users and builders.
If you are curious as to the progress of the map, we will put out a feed of the map which will be constantly updated soon.
